The town of Guncrypt is the player's home base, a sun-baked frontier settlement that sits at the entrance to the crypt full of cursed villagers. It is not a combat zone. Between runs, players return here to speak with NPCs, accept quests, unlock upgrades, and prepare for the next descent.
