Initially, Jetpack Joyride utilized Bricknet, Halfbrick's proprietary server, for storing game data. In 2015, we introduced integration with Facebook and Google, enabling players to save their progress online, enjoy cross-device gameplay, and compete against friends on different platforms. During that time, Google Play Games and Game Center were primarily utilized for tracking achievements and scores, which were kept separate from the core game data. In approximately 2020, we transitioned from the previous save system to the current one, leveraging Google Play Games for Android users and iCloud for Apple users.

It's important to note that if you did not have a backed-up Halfbrick Cloud account connected to Facebook or Google during migration from the old save system to Google Play Games or iCloud, then it would not have transferred and there is no option to retrieve the account using an old login. The backup from Google Play Games or iCloud will automatically be used instead.

If you were previously connected through Facebook, we have a potential workaround that has proven successful for some users. By providing our customer support team with a copy of the User ID from your Facebook settings, they can attempt to manually transfer specific data such as in-app purchases, inventory, and currency. To do this, please follow these steps: Go to Facebook settings > Apps and Websites > Logged in With Facebook > Jetpack Joyride > Learn More > Get help using Jetpack Joyride. Share the User ID that appears there with our customer support team
